Pottery Wheel experience
90-minute intro class

Saturdays. 1PM
90-minute pottery-wheel experience. No experience necesary. All tools and materials provided.
Not suitable for children under 12 years old. Children under 16 years old must attend with an adult carer/guardian.
Does not include glazing and firing of pieces you make.
For an additional charge we can finish your work for you, glaze it and post it back to you.

Group Bookings
COST: negotiable
Dimboola Pottery offers special group bookings for business, social or family groups - that can be tailored to your group’s interests and available time.
These workshops can provide a fun and hands-on ‘team-building’ activity where you can connect informally through shared immersion in the pottery making process.
Choose from either pottery wheel experience; or slab-building workshop (make plates/dishes from slabs of clay).
Firing and glazing costs can be sold separately or bundled together.

Commencing August 12th
This course is for people who have completed the Pottery Wheel introduction course, or who already have some experience making work on a potters wheel.. We focus on improving technique, throwing larger forms, and altering and combining thrown-forms to explore more dynamic shapes and details.
All matertials and firing costs covered, and you collect the the finished work 2-weeks after the course has finshed.

Commencing August 13th
Immerse yourself in the process of making pots on the potters wheel. As well as shaping clay on the wheel, you’ll learn how to trim the base of your pots afterwards -for a more refined look, and then complete your work with glazes and have it fired in our kiln.
All matertials and firing costs covered, and you collect the the finished work 2-weeks after the course has finshed.

Commencing Thursday August 14th
Explore making simple sculptural and functional ceramics with clay coils, slabs and carving techniques, and then complete your works with glazes and have them fired in our kiln.
All matertials are included in the cost of your enrollment, which includes firing a selection of the work you have completed. You will then collect the finished glazed-fired work 2-weeks after the course has finshed.
